Lonely Heart
        by Rachel Peck
Behind pretty smiles
and behind pretty eyes,
she carries her trials,
and on no one she relies.

All alone in her heart.
What else can fall apart?
Darkness overhead looming,
won’t stop until it’s consuming.

Her heart it starts to infest.
Her mind put to the test.
In her problems she is wading,
and the shore is quickly fading
.

She looks up to the sky,
if you’re up there God, why?
Why am I all alone,
stuck in this worlds tidal zone.

EPITAPH

I don't fear life
I don't fear death
As I lived my life fully
Talking of death I am ready

Now my days are over
And had done everything I can
To laugh often and love much
Because of that,
I don't have so much to ask.

As I lay in this grave
I don't want you to be sad
Just keep me in your hearts
And by that,
My memories will never depart.

OF LETTING GO

Seeing you each day
I seem to be in dismay
A feeling of mine you seem not to see
And I’m giving up on you so slowly,

I seemed not to have lost hope in you
That you will see my feeling is true
But I seemed to be insane
I’m just here waiting in vain.

Time passed by for my feelings to grow
Someone came back to my life to bestow
A long lost love
That once flew with the dove.

At that time my heart and mind squabbled
I can’t decide whether to choose him or you
I hate this game fate seem to play
I can’t seem to win anyway.
I love you in lost time
But I have made the hardest decision of mine
Co’s you seem in vain to see
How in the past moment I have love thee.

How I imagined you holding me
But I just loved him more than thee
Now he’s already holding me
And my heart is with him and not already free.

I knew in anyway
My feelings will just fade away
But at the moment
Let me love you in my simplest way,

Distance from you,
Where only my eyes can say
I felt for you, you seem not to see and knew
I had loved you so and now I know
I just have to let you go.
HERE I AM FRIEND

If you need me
Just come and tell me
Because I’m always here
Willing to brighten up your day

If I correct you
Don’t think I hate you
Just showing you things
That might help you to change.

Through the good and bad times
I’m here by your side
To cheer you up and make you smile
For your happiness gives me delight.

Time indeed flies so fast
Soon, very soon, it’s time to part
But please always remember my friend
I’ll always be here to give you a help.

WHY ARE YOU FADING?

Stop! I've got something to say and ask
Had I failed you a task?
Had I done something wrong?
Was there anything I said that didn't belong?

What got you throw our friendship away?
You seem to change from day to day
And your trust, no longer that I have that from u ?
Don't you remember we promised to be true?

Are you willing to throw the memories we had?
Just because of some lads?
I thought we were meant more than them and needs each other
Since we had each other for almost forever

Why do you want to fade, want to leave?
Don't you know you'll leave me in grief?
Don't fade and make me ask why,
Why are you fading away? Why as if you're saying ''GOODBYE"
